Se ricevi il seguente errore:
L’app è stata installata da una sorgente non valida: Per favore, disinstalla e reinstalla di nuovo da uno store valido.
(Google Play Store o Huawei AppGallery)
Per prevenire la pirateria, l’app deve essere installata da uno sore valido, come Google Play Store o Huawei App Gallery. Altre sorgenti non sono accettate. Perciò, se non hai installato l’app da uno di questi, devi seguire questi passaggi:
- Primo (opzionale) fai un backup delle tue opzioni di Sound Profile. In questo modo non dovrai ricreare i tuoi profili (guarda per maggiori info sotto).
- Disinstalla l’app.
- Installa usando Google Play Store tramite questo link. O, se hai un Huawei senza i servizi Google, usa in alternativa lo store Huawei App Gallery in questo link.
- Ripristina il tuo precedente backup (guarda per maggiori info sotto).
Se tu hai installato Sound Profile usando un’app di backup di terzi (molti dispositivi Samsung hanno questa opzione) allora tu devi disinstallare e reinstallare questa dal Google Play Store.
Come fare un Backup delle tue impostazioni seguendo questi passaggi:
- Apri Sound Profile e clicca sul menù
- Clicca su maggiori opzioni
- Clicca su Crea Backup.
- Se non hai i necessari permessi per fare questo ti verrà chiesto di concederli. Una volta concessi, clicca su “Crea Backup” ancora e finalmente fallo.
Per Ripristinare le tue impostazioni una volta che l’app è finalmente installata:
- Apri Sound Profile e clicca sul menù
- Clicca su maggiori opzioni
- Clicca su Ripristina backup.
- Se non hai i necessari permessi per fare questo ti verrà chiesto di concederli. Una volta concessi, clicca su “Crea Backup” ancora e finalmente fallo.

Apologies, but at the moment, the only option available is to create a cloud backup to the user’s Google Drive account. Local backups aren’t supported due to the risk of removal upon app uninstallation and inaccessibility when the user changes devices. The cloud backup ensures accessibility from different devices or installations.
While it’s technically possible to offer a local backup option, this involves users accessing the app’s private storage folder, manually copying it to another location, and later transferring it back to the new device—complex steps that are challenging for 99.99% of users. Therefore, we’ve opted for a user-friendly, straightforward cloud backup solution.
Our cloud backups are securely stored in Google Drive, accessible only to Sound Profile. This method is safe, reliable, and free of charge, offering convenience without compromising security.
Regarding privacy concerns, the data uploaded to Google Drive is minimal and non-sensitive, comprising only volume levels and similar information—data Google likely already possesses. Your privacy remains safeguarded throughout this process.
The backup is securely stored in what is known as the “App data folder” within your Google Drive account. Each app linked to Google Drive possesses its own dedicated App data folder, serving as a discreet repository for application-specific data, including configuration files. This folder is intentionally concealed, accessible solely to the app, and its contents remain hidden from both the user and other Drive applications.
Importantly, each Sound Profile backup occupies minimal space, having negligible impact on your overall storage capacity. To view this data, follow these steps:

2. Click on the gear icon located at the top-right corner.
3. Select “Settings.”
4. Choose “Manage apps.” Here, you’ll find Sound Profile along with other apps that utilize the App data folder.
Within this section, you can ascertain the space occupied by Sound Profile backups and have the option to remove them if desired, providing you with control over your storage preferences.
