  1. Hi, I cant see the new ‘battery’ option in the ‘task & events’ module. I updated the Sound profile app, and I still have ‘Sound profile extender’ installed. Should I deinstall the extender? I dont know if I should, since I cant find the extender in the store and am afraid I will brake the app. Im on android 14. Thx in advance.~
PS: I do see the other options in the ‘task & events module’: bluetooth, wifi, geofence, charging, etc. Just not battery

    1. Hello
Yes, you can uninstall the Extender. It is not needed.
The new battery functions are not available in every country yet (because of specific translations) but I can send you a direct link to install it. Please email me at corcanoe@gmail.com

  3. Hi, I have a profile for while I’m at work. I set up two “Task and Event”s: one for when my Work’s WiFi becomes available, activate the Work profile and one for when the work WiFi becomes unavailable to activate my” Normal” profile. However neither event is working. My phone’s wifi is always on and when I get to work I have double-checked that my work wifi is available and my phone has connected to it. What am I doing wrong/missing?

    1. Hello

To help me resolve your issue more effectively, I kindly request that you provide me with your current settings. Follow these steps to send me the necessary information:

      1. Open the Sound Profile app.

      2. Tap the menu icon (at the top-left corner)

      3. Select Settings.

      4. Tap Send Me An Email.

      5. Allow the app to automatically attach your settings file.

In that email, please explain your issue again so I can clearly recall the details (I receive numerous emails from various users).

Once I receive this information, I can thoroughly investigate your issue and provide a prompt resolution. Thank you for your cooperation.

      Regards,

    1. Hello
I am periodically forced by Google to update the app using the latest Android libraries and tools. Those tools are improved by Google for better performance (security, battery use…). As they progress in the new versions of Android, the previous ones start to become obsolete. So, with the current libraries, the minimum version of Android is Android 9-Pie. If you are using an older device then the app will not be available in Play Store. Keep in mind that the latest version of Android is number 14, so it is a long way from 9 to 14.
      Sorry for the inconveniences.

  5. Not sure if I am missing the obvious… but was hoping to see a ‘review screen’.. that showed current settings times basically.
And would it not make sense to have the profiles in chronological order.. with the transition time shown… with an option to edit current settings.. rather than start over again each time…
Also show which profile is currently active.. based on the current time of course… that would be really useful…
