Sound Profile offers a Vibration Menu that lets you fine-tune how your device vibrates in different situations depending on the current profile.
To open this menu, follow these steps:
- Open Sound Profile
- Go to Menu
- Select Edit Profiles
- Choose the profile you want to modify
- Tap Edit
- Go to Vibration Settings
This menu includes three options:

Main Vibration Service
This is the master switch for vibration on your device. When enabled, the system will follow the settings of the next two options. If disabled, all vibrations on the device will be turned off, including:
- Calls
- Notifications
- Alerts
- Alarm vibrations
If turned off, calls, notifications, events, reminders or alarms will only produce sound or remain silent, depending on your sound settings.
⚠ Important Note for Samsung Users:
Samsung devices do not fully follow the Android standard and ignore this option. If you are using a Samsung device, you may need to manually configure the next options.

Vibration for Calls and Notifications
This option allows you to choose whether you want your device to vibrate for incoming calls and notifications. If turned off, calls and notifications will only produce sound or remain silent, depending on your sound settings.
⚠ Important Note for Samsung Users:
Samsung devices do not fully follow the Android standard. On Samsung devices, this setting only affects call vibrations. The vibration for notifications does not change, regardless of this setting.
Sound Profile offers a workaround to disable the vibration for calls and for notifications in a non silence profile. Tap here for more info.
⚠ Important Note for Google Pixel Users:
Pixel devices ignore the “Vibration for Calls and Notifications” setting. To disable vibration for calls and notifications, you must turn off the Main Vibration Service instead.
Touch Feedback
This option controls touch feedback vibrations, such as Button presses, gestures or other haptic feedback from your device. Keyboard vibrations may depend on the spcific keyboard you are using.
By customizing these options, you can decide exactly when and how your device should vibrate, improving both battery life and user experience.
